Separate shootings leave teen & man injured

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Two people were shot on the same street in Baton Rouge within a span of a little over an hour Sunday night. Investigators have not determined whether they are connected.

The Baton Rouge Police Department reported a 15-year-old boy was shot twice in the 3200 block Bogan Walk St. just before 8 p.m. He was taken to Baton Rouge General-Mid City. The teen's injuries are not considered life-threatening. Police do not have a motive at this time.

Then, just after 9 p.m., police responded to a shooting in the 3300 block Bogan Walk St. Officers found a 23-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was also taken to Baton Rouge General with what are not considered life-threatening injuries.

The victims' names were not released and police do not have any suspects.
