BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Many have said it feels like Mardi Gras came early this year, especially with Sunday's game. On Saturday, the real Mardi Gras feeling was alive as the Krewe of Mystique kept the party rolling.
The Krewe of Mystique, which has rolled through Baton Rouge since 1977, features about 30 floats. Satruday's celebration even brought some out of towners including some first time parade watchers.
"I like it,"said one first time watcher. "I like the food. I don't like the cold air right now. I came from cold weather so I expect it to be 100 degrees soon."
This years parade also featured Pete Fountain's Half-Fast Walking Club of New Orleans and the Krewe of Romany. This was the first year for the Baton Rouge Krewe of Romany.
The annual Krewe of Orion parade also rolled through downtown Baton Rouge on Saturday evening.
