Thieves take donation jar from store

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Authorities are looking for two men who stole money from a donation jar inside a convenience store. The money was intended for a high school student who was badly injured in a car crash.

According to the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office, the men got away with about $250 from Frog's One Stop Store on Greenwell Springs Road around 9:15 p.m. on Jan. 11. The money was meant to help with hospital costs for a Central High School student.

Reports stated after the pair walked in, one of them began talking to the store employee, while the other took the jar. Surveillance cameras at the store snapped pictures of the suspects.

One of the suspects is described as 5'6" - 5'9" and weighs 170 - 195 lbs. He is believed to be in his late 20s to early 30s. The second guy is 5'8" - 6'0" and weighs 180 - 200 lbs. He is also believed to be in his late 20s to early 30s.
