CHALMETTE, LA (WWL) - St. Bernard sheriff's deputies arrested the employee of a Chalmette dentist office and five of her family members after the dentist reported finding unauthorized prescriptions for pain pills had been written using his office computer system, according to sheriff's office spokesman Steve Cannizaro.

After unauthorized prescriptions for a total of 160 pills of hydrocodone were written over the last several months, the dentist office employee, Tiffany Holmes, 20, of Chalmette, was booked on eight counts of obtaining controlled dangerous substances by fraud and deceit, said police.

After her arrest, Holmes admitted writing the prescriptions for her and others, said police.

Holmes' father Frank Roberts, 44; her brother, Gino Holmes, 22; her father's girlfriend Rebecca Snyder, 51; and two friends, Allen and Adam Campo, 23 and 21, were arrested for obtaining controlled substances by fraud and deceit.

"St. Bernard Chief Deputy Sheriff James Pohlmann said the dentist who reported finding the unauthorized prescriptions in his computer system deserves thanks for being on the lookout for illegal distribution of controlled drugs," said Cannizaro.
