Mint and Cilantro Chutney from Manjeet Bhatia

Makes 1 cup


1 cup Mint leaves (fresh)
1 cup chopped Cilantro (fresh)
3 Tbsp Lemon juice (fresh)
1 Tbsp Lime juice (fresh)
2 peeled Garlic Cloves
1 Tbsp Ginger (fresh)
2 medium seeded Green Chilies
2 whole chopped Scallions with greens tops
1 tsp Sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 cup Water (as needed)


Put all the ingredients into blender. Blend them until mixture is smooth. Add water as needed for desired consistency. The mixture should be smooth, not watery.

Transfer the mixture to a bowl: cover and refrigerate it until ready to serve.

NOTE: Salt, lemon and chilies can be adjusted to your taste.
