Taco Soup from El Rio Grande January 29, 2003 at 1:47 PM CST - Updated June 19 at 6:56 AM Monday, January 27, 2003 INGREDIENTS One Can of Corn (Whole) One Can Pinto Beans 2 1/2 Lbs. Ground Beef 1 Chopped Onion 1 Medium Tomato Taco Seasoning (packet)Water PROCEDURE Saute' onions and tomatoes over low heat. Add salt to taste. In a seperate pot, brown meat. Add tomatoes and onions along with pinto beans and corn to meat in a larger pot. Let simmer 10 minutes. Put in Taco seasoning. Add 3 cups of water. Let simmer. Serve with shredded cheese over the top.
