Taco Soup from El Rio Grande

INGREDIENTS

One Can of Corn (Whole)
One Can Pinto Beans
2 1/2 Lbs. Ground Beef
1 Chopped Onion
1 Medium Tomato
Taco Seasoning (packet)
Water

PROCEDURE

  • Saute' onions and tomatoes over low heat. Add salt to taste.
  • In a seperate pot, brown meat.
  • Add tomatoes and onions along with pinto beans and corn to meat in a larger pot.
  • Let simmer 10 minutes.
  • Put in Taco seasoning. Add 3 cups of water.
  • Let simmer. Serve with shredded cheese over the top.
