Cajun Shrimp Penne from Champps

Sauce: INGREDIENTS

1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup asiago cheese
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon chopped garlic
1 tablespoon chopped onion
1/8 teaspoon cayenne
1/8 teaspoon worsteshire sauce
1 teaspoon Tabasco
1 teaspoon sugar
1 cup tomato sauce
1 teaspoon dry basil
1 cup water
Cook for 20 minutes

PROCEDURE 

  • Saute shrimp in butter with sliced poblano peppers, red and yellow bell peppers
  • Add Cajun seasoning
  • Cook shrimp and peppers in sauce base for 1 minute
  • Add Penne Pasta
  • Top with green onion and lime sour cream
