Gulf Shrimp Linguine in Lemon-Garlic-Butter Sauce from Nino's


1 T olive oil
5 peeled and deveined shrimp
1 T chopped garlic
1 T sliced shallot
pinch of salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper
julienned leek

  • place ingredients above in saute pan and place on high heat.
  • periodically toss until garlic is cooked, but not browned.  deglaze with white wine.


5 grape tomatoes - halved
1 T capers
1/2 lemon
1 T butter
fresh basil

  • add remaining ingredients above and place back over heat.
  • toss with 12 oz linguine and top with shredded parmesan cheese.
