The Baton Rouge Police Department is looking for John Sterling for principal to attempt second degree murder and principal to illegal use of a weapon.
On May 26, 2009 at 1100 I-10 West around 11:50pm, the victim was driving on the interstate and was involved in a crash.
Police say the victim got out of his truck and an argument ensued with John Sterling and several other males on the scene.
Investigators say the victim advised when he attempted to call the police Sterling and the other suspects stated "You want to call the Police" and one of the males on the scene pulled out a gun and fired at the victim at least three times.
Officers say the victim was struck in the chest and the foot before Sterling and the other suspects fled the scene.
Crime Stoppers is looking for information on additional suspects that may be involved in this crime as well as John Sterling.
