Pepper Steak from South of Philly

Serves:  4 Sandwiches


3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 onion, sliced
16 ounces sliced rib eye
Cheez Whiz, heated until liquid and smooth
4 six or seven inch crusty Italian rolls
1 sweet green peppers, diced
Southern All Purpose Seasoning


  • Heat an iron skillet or a non-stick pan over medium heat
  • add 3 tablespoons of oil to the pan. Saute the onions and green peppers to desired doneness.
  • Add the rib eye, season to taste with Southern All Purpose Seasoning and chop until desired texture.
  • Divide equally between 4 rolls. Pour over with Cheez Whiz
