As this school year draws to a close, we hope you consider an important cause to help area students. Before you know it, stores will be packed with people buying school supplies and uniforms for the new school year. There is no question that those items are expensive. And for some families, there simply isn't enough money.

Every year, WAFB and St. Vincent de Paul join to provide area families with donated school uniforms from our generous viewers. We need your help to reach an ambitious goal providing uniforms to 12,000 children in the 12-parish area. We thank those of you who have been generous enough to contribute in the past. Any donation, large or small, will help.

It's easy to donate. Just send a check to P.O. Box 127, Baton Rouge, LA  70821 or drop off a new or used uniform to any Kean's the Cleaners. We always say that improving education is a high priority. So let's prove that we mean it by helping the students who need it the most.
