Low pressure moving eastward through the northern Gulf of Mexico will result in a wet 24 hours for the WAFB viewing area. Look for scattered showers to move into the area by late Friday night and continue off-and-on through much of the day Saturday. Not only will Saturday be damp, but it will be cool as well, with highs in the upper 50°s. The good news is that we expect to salvage the second half of the weekend with much nicer weather on Sunday. We'll toss a slight chance of showers in the Tuesday forecast as a cool front pushes through. - Steve Caparotta, WAFB Storm Team
