BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A bill to make insurance companies help pay for autism treatment passed the House with a unanimous vote Thursday afternoon.

When legislators gave the green light, supporters of the bill broke out into cheers.

The bill next goes to a Senate committee for another vote.
