Police believe Ernie Jacobs shot Jonathan Dixon several times during an armed robbery.
The robbery and shooting happened in the 5500 block of Fairfields around 6:30 p.m.
Police say Jacobs is 20 years old and his last known address is on East Mendenhal.
He was seen leaving the scene in a light green Ford Mustang convertible with a light-colored top.
Someone fired shots at the car, so it may have bullet holes.
