Pit bull owners in East Baton Rouge Parish may have to shell out some cash for their best friends, if a revised ordinance is approved by the Metro Council.
EBR Councilman Mike Walker introduced an amendment Wednesday night that would make sure all pitbulls in the parish are registered.
Owners would also have to purchase liability insurance.
Also, if you want to get a pitbull, you have to get a permit first.
