
Christopher Balot (Source: Hammond Police Department)HAMMOND, LA (WAFB) - Hammond police are looking for the man accused of robbing a convenience store at gunpoint on Nov. 18.
According to reports, Christopher Balot, 29, walked into the Circle K on South Morrison Blvd. and demanded money from the cashier while brandishing a handgun.
Balot was last seen wearing a gray leather jacket, dark jeans, a dark knitted cap and white tennis shoes.
When arrested, Balot will face charges of armed robbery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Police believe Balot may be in either the Washington Parish area or southwest Mississippi area.
