WAFB Channel 9, Baton Rouge, LA |Motorcycle officer injured during funeral procession

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Baton Rouge Police say a man driving a pickup truck collided with an officer on a motorcycle. Police say the driver of the truck was part of a funeral procession.
Officers say the driver was caught off guard when the procession came to a stop and swerved into the path of the officer on the motorcycle.
The officer was transported to a hospital for minor injuries.
The driver was cited for failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle.
