PLAQUEMINE, LA (WAFB) - The Christmas shoplifting season is in full swing, as stores have reported several cases of people walking out without paying for merchandise.
The latest victim was Walmart in Plaquemine on Sunday, but surveillance cameras were rolling while the suspects were stealing.
The crew got away with a computer, big screen television, Blu-ray/DVD player and other items.
Iberville Parish sheriff's deputies said the suspects took everything out through the Garden Center and loaded it into a Chevy Avalanche.
This same team is believed to have hit the Walmart in Prairieville the day before.
