BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A man who was pulled from a burning home Friday night has died.
The fire broke out on South Street near South 14th.
Firefighters pulled the man from the burning home and he was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Officials say the blaze started just after 8:00 p.m. and quickly spread until the home was engulfed in flames.
They say the fire then spread to the house next door.
It didn't take long for fire crews to get both blazes under control.
The cause of the fatal fire is still under investigation.
