LIVINGSTON PARISH, LA (WAFB) - Three people have been charged after a pair of meth labs were discovered in a handicapped man's van Monday afternoon.
A traffic stop by the Springfield Police Department yielded two "one pot method" meth labs, a small amount of meth and various items used to make meth.
The Livingston Parish Sheriff's office says three adults were using the van, owned and operated by a quadriplegic, to run their meth labs. The handicapped man is being treated as a victim in the incident and has not been charged.
James R. Bare, 40, has been charged with driving under suspension, cruelty to the infirmed, creation/operation of a meth lab, possession of schedule II CDS and two counts of manufacturing schedule II CDS. His bond was set at $210,500.
Kristopher James Sanchez, 32, faces charges of cruelty to the infirmed, creation/operation of a meth lab, possession of schedule II CDS and two counts of manufacturing schedule II CDS. His bond has been set at $210,000.
Rachel Pamela Pruyn, 27, has been charged with cruelty to the infirmed, creation/operation of a meth lab, possession of schedule II CDS, two counts of manufacturing schedule II CDS, three counts of issuing worthless checks, one count of speeding, no driver's license and expired MVI. Her bond has been set at $502,000.
