ST. GABRIEL, LA (WAFB) - Authorities say a 28-year-old man died Thursday morning as a result of a hit-and-run crash Wednesday night and they are now looking for the man believed to be responsible.
Police say Ron Coleman died in a head-on collision on Highway 75 in St. Gabriel around 10:30 p.m.
Randy Clark Wallace, 23, is accused of crossing the center line and slamming into Coleman's car.
Coleman was rushed to the hospital with a crushed pelvis and leg. He died Thursday morning from internal bleeding.
"I just want someone to catch the person who did that to him," said Tonya Wilson, Coleman's mother.
She said her son was on his way home from a baseball game when the crash occurred.
