BRUSLY, LA (WAFB) - Authorities arrested the 22-year-old man they believe was caught on camera staring into the bathroom and bedroom windows of a teenage girl, sometimes without any pants on.

According to Chief Jamie Whaley with the Brusly Police Department, Charles Kazmir admitted to looking into the 16-year-old's window on seven different occasions. He was charged with seven counts of criminal trespassing, obscenity, voyeurism, peeping tom and criminal mischief. In several of the photos released by police, the peeping tom was only wearing a t-shirt and socks.

"This is to me more than a peeping tom to take it to that level," Whaley said. "He was stripping down, totally getting nude in the photos and touching himself."

Residents of the small community expressed shock when they learned what happened.

"I'm totally appalled," said Regina Donald. "This is something I would not expect in Brusly."

Whaley said the camera was set up after the family noticed bricks stacked in front of their daughter's windows. Every time the family moved the bricks, he noted, they would somehow get stacked right back up. Police think Kazmir used the bricks as a stepping stool to get a better look into the windows.
