BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Four men were arrested for selling counterfeit tickets for the LSU-Florida game.

LSU police arrested Stevie Dixon, Demonta Holloway, Jamall Lanes and Lorenzo York.

All four men were charged with theft by fraud.

Police said the men are from Atlanta.

Several people filed reports that tickets they purchased outside Tiger Stadium for the game would not scan.

Police said the four alleged counterfeiters were arrested because the people who purchased the fake tickets remembered their faces.

A record crowd filed into Death Valley for the game between the two SEC powerhouses and tickets were going at exorbitant prices.

A total of 93,129 fans watched the game from inside the stadium.

LSU fell to the Gators 13-3 in the contest.
