Monday, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet provided WAVE 3 with a behind the scenes look at the work being done to rebuild the bridge decks to prepare for the paving project to begin in the next couple of weeks. The tour was meant to coincide with Work Zone Safety Week, which is April 23 through 27.

    A bomb was dropped by the prosecution during Friday's pretrial conference in the murder case of Gregory O'Bryan, the man accused of murdering Sullivan University student Andrew Compton.     Over a dozen young ambassadors departed Louisville on Monday for a two week trip to Europe. 'People to People', a student ambassador organization is behind the project.     Two of Louisville's nursing schools announced on Thursday a new articulation agreement to help graduates better their education and at the same time, provide better care for our community. Spalding University and Galen College of Nursing will now work together as partners to allow graduates of Galen's associate degree program in nursing to transfer their credits to Spalding to further their nursing education.

    A man and woman accused of killing the man they were supposed to be caring for were arraigned Wednesday morning. Heather Lynn Baringer, 42, and 48-year-old Dennis Mitchell Hall are accused of murder, tampering with physical evidence and several other charges in the death of Jeffrey Bishop.

Drivers go through a refresher training course in June and then they're back on the road a week or so before school starts. Friday was the first day for school bus drivers in Jefferson County.
