Although the vehicle appeared to be in great condition, it had previously been involved in a traffic accident and had significant damage to the frame. The insurance company "totaled" the vehicle after determining the cost of repairing it exceeded its actual value. As our team of experts explained, vehicles like this can often be much more valuable when their individual parts are sold on the black market, rather than selling the entire vehicle.
