State Representative Hunter GreeneBATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The pay raise legislators voted for themselves this past session has caused a flood of interest in recalling some of them.
The latest lawmaker to be the subject of a recall petition is state Representative Hunter Greene of Baton Rouge.
Donald Broughton filed a request for recall paperwork on the Republican lawmaker Monday morning.
Greene has said he will not return the raise because he plans to use the extra money to "feed my family."
Other recall targets are: Representative Franklin Foil of Baton Rouge, Representative Joseph Lopinto of Metairie, Representative Stephen Pugh of Ponchatoula, and House Speaker Jim Tucker of Terrytown.
Governor Bobby Jindal has also been named in a recall petition.
One interesting note is so far, all the petitions filed are against Republican politicians.
Political insiders say more recall petitions are on the way.
