The Delta regional jet was headed to Atlanta when it caught fire just after 1:00 p.m.
Officials say it all happened after the pilot and passengers heard a loud "pop."
That's when the pilot noticed the right engine was on fire.
The craft was completely evacuated within 90 seconds and there were no injuries reported.
