BOSSIER CITY, LA (WAFB) - A Louisiana woman faces bigamy charges after admitting to authorities she is married to more than one man.
According to the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office, Bridget Mize, 35, told investigators Tuesday afternoon she is married to three men at the same time.
Deputies said she also confessed she never divorced any of the men.
The marriages all happened in different states.
She first married a man in Dallas County, TX in 1993.
Her second marriage happened in Caddo Parish, LA in 2005.
The third nuptial occurred in Columbia County, AR in 2007.
Detectives said Mize married her third husband after her second husband went to prison.
He was housed at the Bossier Maximum Security Facility, which is the same jail she was taken to for booking on two counts of bigamy.
Her bond was not set.
Officials did not indicate whether husband No. 2 is still housed at the facility.
