BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A website reporting on the progress of a man who was shot while helping a woman being robbed provided more good news on his condition Tuesday morning.
The site stated Charlie Cangelosi continues to improve. The writer expressed excitement over him sleeping all night. If you remember, Cangelosi was in a medically-induced coma for several days.
There was also a posting about him consuming a liquid tray and loving it.
Family and friends said they are waiting from a report from the doctor.
Cangelosi remains in intensive care.
He was shot in the chest after stepping in to help a pregnant woman during an armed robbery. He has undergone several surgeries.
