HOUMA, LA (WAFB) - Investigators are looking for a man they said stabbed his younger brother during a fight over a clothing issue Monday evening.

According to the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office, Joshua Bickham, 25, of Houma, is accused of stabbing his 21-year-old brother around 6 p.m.

Deputies said he fled the scene before deputies arrived to investigate and remains on the loose.

Detectives said Bickham and his brother started arguing because the suspect accused the victim of taking his clothes from their house.

They said the argument turned violent and during the fight Bickham pulled out some kind of sharp and stabbed his brother.

The victim was stabbed in the back and was cut on his left middle finger.

He was taken to Leonard Chabert Medical Center and treated.

Deputies said the injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
