TANGIPAHOA, LA (WAFB) - Authorities are reporting that former Tangipahoa Parish Police Juror and broadcaster Rube Rogers was found stabbed in his home Friday night.
Tangipahoa Sheriff's deputies say Rogers died from his injuries.
Authorities believe robbery was the motive.
Currently deputies say they are looking for Eric Maurer, 31, as suspect. Maurer is allegedly like a stepson to Rogers. Maurer is wanted for 1st degree murder and aggravated burglary.
Rogers was a member of the ActionNews17 family.
