WAFB Channel 9, Baton Rouge, LA |Accused rapist now faces molestation charge

Loren Wright (Source: Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office)HAMMOND, LA (WAFB) - A man already serving time on rape and child porn charges is now also accused of molesting a juvenile.
Loren Wright, 29, of Tickfaw allegedly went into the victim's room around bedtime and began touching her inappropriately. He was charged on Nov. 16.
He is currently in the Tangipahoa Parish jail on a $2.6 million bond.
The allegations were made known to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office after Wright had already been charged with five counts of aggravated rape and child pornography.
Sheriff Daniel Edwards said Wright was first charged with two counts of aggravated rape in July 2008.
In September, just two months later, he was charged with three counts of aggravated rape.
Then, in October, he was also charged with child pornography.
