WAFB Channel 9, Baton Rouge, LA |I-10 now open to through traffic in Lake Charles

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - UPDATE: Interstate 10 is now open in both east and westbound directions through Lake Charles and Westlake after crews hauled an overturned tanker truck away just before 11 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
The truck was traveling westbound Tuesday afternoon when it overturned on the off ramp in Westlake. The truck was leaking fuel.
I-10 was closed to through traffic east and westbound between the I-210 junctions. Local traffic traveling west on I-10 could only go as far as Enterprise Boulevard and eastbound traffic on I-10 could only go as far as the PPG Drive/Pete Manena Road exit.
