WAFB Channel 9, Baton Rouge, LA |Pedestrian killed in apparent hit and run

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Louisiana State Police is investigating a deadly hit-and-run crash that happened Friday night in Iberia Parish.
According to troopers, the pedestrian's body was discovered on Hwy 85 just after 8 a.m. Saturday morning.
Russell Lewis, 59, was walking south on the highway when he was run over by either a Dodge Durango or Dakota truck, troopers said.
Investigators said they have recovered pieces of a red frame from the scene.
The vehicle they're looking for is missing a passenger side headlight and may have damage to the passenger side.
