BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - According to Baton Rouge police, a shooting early Wednesday morning left one man dead and the other with only a minor gunshot wound.
It happened in the 16000 block of Vermillion Drive shortly before 1 a.m.
Police said Terry Boyd, 35, and another man were both shot while inside Boyd's house. They said the bullets were fired from outside the home and flew through a window.
Boyd was already dead when investigators arrived on the scene and the other was shot in the foot. The unidentified man was taken to the hospital.
Police said they don't have a motive for the shooting.
They also didn't identify or give descriptions of any possible suspects.
The shooting is still under investigation.
