WAFB Channel 9, Baton Rouge, LA |UPDATE: One dead, several others injured in shooting

INDEPENDENCE, LA (WAFB) - Seven more people have been arrested in Livingston Parish, facing serious charges in last week's riot in Independence.
The seven were arrested Friday and charged with the crime of "Riot". Felony charges have also been added since 23-yr-old Trent Stewart was shot and killed during the incident. Those arrested are Donald Bigner, Slade Stilley, George May, Alisha Wolfe, Paul Lewis, and Matthew Sziber, all of Independence.
Troy Brewer of Loranger was also arrested. The sheriff says more arrests are possible. We're told some of these folks have already bonded out of jail, posting their $25,000 bond.
