Calmer Weather to End the Weekend

Today's Forecast

Today's Forecast Image

We've gotten the rocky weather out of the area.  The rest of the weekend will be pretty nice.  South Louisiana will have to deal with some patchy morning fog early Sunday and maybe a shower or two on radar.  We stay dry for late morning into the early afternoon as highs reach the mid 80°s.  A stray shower or two can't be completely ruled out by late afternoon, but most stay dry.  Our next disturbance arrives Monday.  Sct'd showers and t-storms will be associated with this system.  A few lingering t-showers could last into Tuesday.  It stays warm with highs in the 80°s and morning starts in the 60°s.  Watch out for patchy fog each morning through Thursday.  On Thursday our next big storm system arrives.  A likely chance for showers and t-storms returns to the forecast.  Once again we might see some strong to severe weather.  A slight cool down will be enjoyed to end the week.  Over the weekend another storm system is expected to impact the area. - Jeff Morrow / WAFB Storm Team
