Victim dies after shooting on N. 36th Street

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A man, originally listed as being in critical condition, has died from his injuries sustained during a shooting on N. 36th Street.

The shooting happened on February 23, around 6:48 p.m. Police say Charles Jackson, 68, was sitting on the front porch of his home in the 1600 block of N. 36th Street when he was shot.

Jackson was hospitalized and had been in critical condition until Friday morning when he passed.

The motive and suspect are unknown at this time.
