FIRST ALERT FORECAST: Considerably cooler day

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - On this Presidents’ Day Monday, your out-the-door temperatures have once again cooled down; starting out in the upper 40°s to lower 50°s, and that’s 15 to 20 degrees cooler than Sunday morning.

And, after nearly tying a record high yesterday, it will be considerably cooler today, under partly cloudy skies and light NE winds, our afternoon high will only top out in the lower 60°s.

Overnight, a few scattered showers may begin to pop up on FIRST ALERT Doppler radar, a low of 49°; tomorrow, grab the umbrella, we’ll have a 40% coverage of showers and a bit warmer, a high near 70°.
