NOPD: Man robbed after mistaking suspect’s vehicle for Lyft
The New Orleans Police Department says a man was robbed early Sunday morning after getting into the wrong vehicle.

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The New Orleans Police Department says a man was robbed early Sunday morning after getting into the wrong vehicle.

According to the victim, he got into a vehicle that he believed was a Lyft with two females inside around 3:45 a.m. The two females drove the victim to a gas station in the 600 block of St. James Street where they attempted to take money from him. When the victim got out of the vehicle and attempted to flee, he was approached by two men who pulled a gun on him and took his wallet. All four suspects then fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Police have not given descriptions of the suspects.
