BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) - Bossier City High School students use recyclable materials to help the area homeless stay dry.
Students in Natalie Dubois' Family Consumer Science and Child Development class make their lessons count outside of the classroom.
Recently learning how to weave, they created an eco-friendly and practical solution to help the homeless, mats.
The mats serve as a barrier between the wet ground and keep them off the ground.
The mats were donated to and distributed by the Hope House.
