BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - LSU defensive lineman Breiden Fehoko has announced via Twitter that he is staying with the Tigers for his senior year.

Fehoko missed the final three games of the season and the bowl game after suffering an injury against Alabama. This was his first season of action with the Tigers after transferring from Texas Tech.

In the tweet, Fehoko tries to encourage former defensive lineman Rashard Lawrence to stick around as well to take care of “unfinished business.” Lawrence was named Defensive Player of the Game in the 40-32 Fiesta Bowl win over UCF.

The 6-foot-4, 291-pound defensive lineman finished 2018 with 16 total tackles and 1.5 sacks. His best game of the season was against Southeastern Louisiana. He had 6 total tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and a sack.
