Jambalaya plate lunch benefit held for fallen officer

ZACHARY, LA (WAFB) - Do you have lunch plans for Friday? If not, here’s an idea ... get a jambalaya plate at a benefit for Chris Lawton, a reserve officer who was killed in the line of duty earlier this year.

The jambalaya plates are being sold at the Zachary Fire Department starting at 11 a.m. Friday. You can also get a big order together and they’ll deliver it.

Come by and get your plate!!

The money raised will help send family members and co-workers of Chris Lawton to witness the fallen officer’s name being added to the Police Officer’s Memorial Wall in Washington, DC next year.
